Our Story
Finding beauty in all the little details of everyday life.
Kristy is from a little country full of hills and fields and forests in the centre of Europe called Czech republic. But she followed her heart and married a curly haired guy, Joshua, from the golden state of California, and home is no longer one place on a map. After we got married we moved to Hawaii, and we call the island of Maui our home. From the heart of Europe to the heart of the Pacific Ocean.
Our lives were forever changed by having our family grow, with one tiny one that we never got to hold this side of heaven, and three little ones keeping us busy and bringing smiles to our faces everyday.
We value connection and prioritizing the things that last forever and go beyond this lifetime.
Having children only grew our passion for documenting memories of fleeting seasons. Creating keepsake time-capsules that take you back to those moments in time that might have seemed so small and mundane even, but years down the road mean everything. Getting to look back at the seasons past is what fills us with deep gratitude and awe at the story that is ours. We want to help you do the same.
JOSHUA
formally studied film photography and graphic design in college, while videography is a major interest of his since childhood. He knows all the technical things and loves to research gear endlessly. He is in love with film and dreams of running his own darkroom. Creativity is his language in every area you can imagine from music to pencil drawings. He is sure to make you laugh and feel at ease and he’s the one that starts the dance party at your wedding if needed.
KRISTY
started expressing herself through self-portraits at the age of fifteen and her passion for telling stories and capturing emotions only grew from there. She started seeing the world around her in a new way, notice the light and beauty in the hidden places. She has been photographing memories from major life events like weddings to simple everyday joys of families for over ten years. She will help you take a deep breath and exhale with her soft presence.
Together, we offer a unique presence and perspective in being able to tell your story in different mediums and being able to freeze moments in time without getting in each others way.

Our desire is to capture honest & real moments. We want to help you pause and notice the beauty in your life no matter the season you’re in.
