roadtrip through Iceland

We spent a week driving around this marvelous island. And I wish I could find words for this place, but I don't think I can. Coming here I was a little hesitant to have my expectations high, wondering if this was just "the cool place to go" right now. But experiencing it for myself, I know now why so many people have been visiting this place, and coming back. It is so full of beauty and meaning. It transforms you if you allow it. And you don't leave the same as you came. Especially if you keep exploring beyond the touristic spots, you will find hidden beauty and solitude. I really hope to come back to this place soon, and get to know it better.
